@mel_zax @astro_katross Hi Mel, we have seen the new F-10 curriculum and some of our team provided some feedback during the process. We are very happy that there has been a clear effort to address gender bias there!
We hope to further discuss the F-10 curriculum with experts to further improve it.

@IncludeHer_STEM @astro_katross You are conflating state and territory senior curricula with the Australian Curriculum F-10 Version 9, which includes a number of women from diverse cultural backgrounds in the elaborations. Check out the reference to the Matilda Effect and bias in science!

There are around 150 male scientists included in Australian high school science curricula, according to a new report. But there’s just one woman - and she’s only mentioned in Northern Territory, Queensland and South Australian coursework.
