After over three decades of dedicated service at IndianOil, Ms Piyali Chakraborty leaves behind a lasting imprint on the Refineries Division’s HR landscape. Beginning her journey in 1993, she rose through key leadership roles across Haldia, Barauni, Gujarat Refineries and Refineries HQ, becoming the first woman Divisional HR Head in IndianOil’s history. She is recognised for fostering harmonious industrial relations, strengthening HR systems and advancing digital, transparent processes. A mentor to many, she championed a culture of trust, inclusion and employee well-being. Her steady leadership and commitment to institutional development have helped shape a resilient and future-ready HR framework for IndianOil.
