Happy Valentine's Day! I haven't shown many canon couples from the game yet (I'll leave the shipping to the players) so here's a picture of Weaver and Lauper being SUPER good friends that I've drawn at the very last moment! 💘 #ValentinesDay

While you can reduce the Great Ocean to being similar gameplay wise, the overall presentation elevates it to something that feels intentional instead of shallow. Here's a song you can listen to that doesn't cost 30 shitty dollars. youtu.be/FftDrweUNvc?li…

@LocalBtnMasher Options provide depth, multiple dimensions for rulesets to play out and giving value to player choice.

"should we just start every game from the beginning when you die"

Irenicus@Irenicus67
What the fuck are y’all even saying lmao should we just start every game from the beginning when you die, as that’s when you feel even more consequences If anything runbacks limit boss design to a select move pool because of having to account for the tedium to get there
English

@LocalBtnMasher The earliest arcade games didn't have definitive end points, and were mainly about score attacks. Games have long since added different experiences with different aspects of enjoyment beyond solely measuring player performance.
English

@InkDragonWorks Credit feeding is the biggest mistake and killed the Arcade yes, but there was years before it was invented or implemented
1cc was the intended way to play majority of the good ones
English

@LocalBtnMasher "hur hur hur well I didn't do that I die and replay until I can 1CC" doesn't matter either, the point is that was an option intentionally coded into and designed for the arcade game. You can pretend any game is 1CC permadeath. What people are just asking for is options.
English

@LocalBtnMasher You keep bringing up arcade games as if the majority of them weren't literally pay-to-win. You game over, you put in a quarter and pick up right where you left off.
Some might reset a round/level, very few would outright end it and force you to restart.
