Real question, why do new Fighting games even need to release? From my perception there seems to be like +15 good ones, cant all the players go there forever?
This is what people do in every other PVP genre mostly, Counter strike has like 3 releases in 25 years

As Electric Underground uploads more videos, I found his opinions too picky for me. I don't wanna follow him anymore. I know AA(A) games are prime to be complained on, but being too picky will make your gaming experience miserable. Not every game has to be Ninja Gaiden II-tight.

@jebfromwallmart Fair, however, i dont think the entire FGC community is actually that good, its varying skill levels. If a social push rejects new games and gets a lot of people to move back to a consolidated one, then you would have a larger variety of skill levels.

Meanwhile if you have meter neither enemy can go through the Block. The move does not have a natural counter, it relies on a finite resource being empty for it to be balanced

@Speedkicks So i am wondering maybe its just better to look back and consolidate around what exists to be able to get into the phase of competition eternally. Some people brought up the value of the "exloration phase" but idk i think from a sport pov it makes more sense to consolidate

@Speedkicks From a player standpoint. When you look at other PVP games that blur the line between game and sport, they are consolidated, CSGO was the main CS to play for 11 years, not too different from chess. The question arose from seeing experienced players overall unhappy with new
