15 years old. On debut. Scores a T20I hundred. Rwanda’s Fanny Utagushimaninde became the youngest centurion in women’s T20Is. She’s the first ever to do it on debut. 111* (65). Pure statement. Women’s cricket is evolving fast… and from places you didn’t expect.

Speech in the Gulf isn’t just about what you say. It’s about where you say it, how you say it, and who you’re talking about. Across countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait, social media is not treated as a private space. It’s legally the same as speaking in public. A tweet, a WhatsApp forward, even a sarcastic comment can fall under laws related to: “Spreading misinformation” “Insulting the state” “Harming national unity” “Undermining public order” And these aren’t vague warnings. People have been fined, detained, and even deported over posts. What makes it tricky is the gray zone: What counts as criticism vs insult? What is opinion vs misinformation? Where does satire cross the line? There isn’t always a clear answer. For many in the region, this creates an invisible boundary- one you learn not from a rulebook, but from examples of what happens when someone crosses it. The internet may be global. But speech laws are still very, very local.

A controversial remark by a former Pakistani diplomat has triggered concern amid rising regional tensions, with references to India drawing sharp reactions as geopolitical fault lines appear to widen further. Speaking during a discussion centred on a hypothetical conflict, Basit said, “If America attacks Pakistan we have to attack India, Mumbai, New Delhi, without a second thought. We won’t leave it we’ll see what happens later.” Read More: intdy.in/4u3qie #AbdulBasit #India #Pakistan #Geopolitics #SecurityTensions #IndiaTodayGlobal

There’s a growing claim that Iran’s power grid is too decentralized to be crippled, and that any strike would backfire with Israel collapsing first and the Gulf in flames. That analysis doesn’t hold up. Yes, Iran has hundreds of power plants. But wars don’t target “plant counts”, they target critical capacity and choke points. A handful of large gas plants and key transmission nodes carry a disproportionate load. Take those out, and cascading failures do the rest. The Ukraine comparison is also misleading. Ukraine’s grid is structured differently, backed by external integration and constant Western support. Iran doesn’t have that cushion. And the idea that Israel’s grid would be destroyed first ignores reality. Israel has hardened infrastructure, layered air defenses, and faster recovery systems. Damage is possible. Collapse is not easy. Could this escalate and hit Gulf infrastructure? Yes. But that’s a scenario of major escalation- not an automatic outcome. Bottom line: This isn’t a one-sided game anyone “wins easily.” Both sides have vulnerabilities. Both would pay a price. But the idea that Iran is immune while others collapse first is more narrative than strategy.
Chamberlain's Ghost@RSA_Observer

This is a game that Trump will almost certainly lose, and very badly at that. Iran's electrical power generation and grid are highly decentralised - there are well over 400 power stations of varying sizes but the largest accounts for only 2.9% of Iranian power generation. Ukraine's power generation is far more concentrated and it's taken the Russians a great many missiles over a very long time to seriously degrade it. Long before the Iranian grid collapses, Israel's grid will be destroyed and the Gulf states will be in flames. This is more "Trump incoherence".

India dispatched its first shipment of medical aid to Iran on March 18, 2026, delivering essential medicines and supplies to the Iranian Red Crescent Society. The humanitarian assistance comes amid ongoing regional tensions, with Iran publicly thanking India for the support. The move reflects New Delhi’s continued outreach through aid while maintaining a balanced diplomatic stance in the region.

Indian government looks so helpless & clueless... This rascal Pakistani cricketer has vowed that he will donate his salary to Pakistani Air Force. And India has allowed him to play in India for a local club. Same @BCCI made Hindu hotel girls dance before Bangladeshi cricket team when Hindus were lynched in Bangladesh last year. Shame on Hindus who are high on this cricket opium & unaware about the great Jihad danger lurking behind them...

Iran’s missile strike on Dimona hit residential areas, leaving buildings damaged, fires on the ground, and dozens injured. No confirmed damage to the nuclear facility, but the location changes everything. A strike this close to Israel’s most sensitive site signals a dangerous shift. This conflict is entering a far riskier phase.

Trump now wants to hit and obliterate power plants in Iran. This will jeopardise the lives of very civilians who he said he wanted to save from the Islamist regime. He is getting desperate and wants to punish civilians and break their morale. The swift victory couldn't be achieved and Iran's repeated tit for tat actions have shocked him to the core. The only way forward from here is absolute mayhem and the suffering of civilians. He won't stop until he can show the World that he won...
