Well, that was a deflating way to lose your first series of the season. Connelly Early deserved better. Yes, Greg Weissert crapped down his leg, but the Red Sox offense is going to need to do more than this. 0-for-6 with RISP... and a .179 mark for this series. You were able to cut down the strikeouts compared to yesterday, but just very little overall impact. Can’t be only Wilyer Abreu putting you on his back and you can’t afford dumb mistakes on the bases.

As satisfying as Opening Day was, Game 2 of 2026 was extremely frustrating. Sonny Gray put you in a hole early. Couple of big defensive mistakes were the difference. Misused the ABS Challenges early and it cost you badly. Also, CB Bucknor was just straight up garbage. 2-for-14 with RISP was too reminiscent of last year from the offense. Especially in extras.

He has an uphill battle to make the Opening Day roster but will certainly be a part of the rotation early on in the season Overall: This lineup is okay at best. The Red Sox will not be able to afford giving up more than 4 runs a game because this offense is not very threatening. Roman Anthony could be a top-5 hitter in the sport, but his power is still questionable and there may not be anyone else on this team that sniffs anywhere near 30 home runs. The pitching staff could have an argument for the best in baseball and their bullpen is solid with Aroldis Chapman and Garrett Whitlock there to shut down games

So basically if Kremp pulled a Vanguard Spart and saved it until the Major it would've been allowed... The gun sucks at range even more than the Dravec so isn't even a "flex" gun like the Vanguard Volk or BO4 Rampart. Makes the game way so much more entertaining to see a third gun pulled out, especially when you also see the player get shredded/punished with it. Disappointed by the GA culture.
