Let me explain to you why the Roblox update of the changes to gamepasses, and the destruction of donation games, is objectively GOOD. No developer will disagree with me on this. If they do, they are larping. The Roblox economy is composed of various different things. A typical pathway for robux is, robux is purchased from Roblox, spent on a gamepass, developer product, or UGC item, and the developer of the content cashes the robux out of the economy via devex. The path of robux can take also take a very different path. Remember, most robux transactions take at least 30% as tax for the whole transaction - a significant amount. Consider the following path: Robux is purchased from Roblox > robux spent on a gamepass > gamepass owner spends on a limited > ex-limited owner includes robux in a trade > receiver of trade spends robux on a UGC item > UGC creator pays another creator via t-shirt for a retexture commission > retexturer uses Devex and removes the robux from the economy. Every single one of these events includes a tax of at least 30%, with UGC sales taking 70% as tax. Let's say you spend 50 dollars on 5000 robux from Roblox. By the end of the above path, the 5000 robux is now only 360 robux, the equivalent of $1.37 USD via Devex. The original purchase of 50 dollars has lost 97.26% of its initially traded in value. Now, as for why no dev would disagree with this update. Donation games are a large enough part of the economy that Pls Donate made significant revenue, easily much more than 8 figures. Remember, ALL robux that passes through Pls Donate is taxed at a whopping 40% rate due to Pls Donate's 10% tax cut. A large portion of robux that could have eventually landed in the pockets of other developers was taxed at 10% extra, which landed in Hazem's pocket. This would mean you, as a developer, would be taking a significant percentage of your income and running it through an involuntary additional tax which is paid to another "developer" who really is just running a skimming machine. The amount of funds Hazem cashes out in a year would otherwise be dispersed among all developers, if people had a good way to donate robux and Hazem wasn't taking a skim. People are ultimately developers on Roblox because they want to get paid to develop their own content. That is the trade. Content for money. No developer would willingly give a percentage of their income to another "developer" who doesn't actually contribute to the Roblox ecosystem in terms of making real games or other UGC content, and you get absolutely nothing in return for the loss of income. The death of donation games simply equals additional income for literally ALL other developers making REAL CONTENT.

This is literally a different game, you plant seeds, and every night the server turns into a raiding window where you either steal from others or defend your own, it’s a smart play, basically taking the reason why SaB is still alive and implementing it into gag

The limits of the new transfer feature are ridiculous, but let’s be real, Pls Donate was never truly built for the community. Hazem has a life set for him off a game that required minimal development effort, built on taking a cut from what players thought were direct donations. That’s not charity, that’s the model. Not hating on Hazem, but Roblox was losing money to a middleman and they cut it off. Simple business decision. And yes he donated a lot, through his own game, where he still took a percentage of every transaction. Now instead of thanking the community that made him millions, he’s crashing out on Twitter. Where was this energy when Roblox was releasing updates that hurt the broader community? Not a word, until it hit his income. Speaking out then wouldn’t have guaranteed change, but it would’ve meant something. The silence until now says everything. The community he ‘built this for’ never heard from him when other updates were destroying the platform. Only now that his bag is affected does Roblox suddenly ‘fucking suck. (Not defending Maxxell with the direct hate)

I'm not sure why so many people have commented this "you have no right to talk" crap. You will find that I in fact DO have the right to criticize anyone and anything I want. No amount of room-temperature IQ fools telling me otherwise will stop me. Really, all I do is point out the obvious truth in a not-so-sugarcoated way. Hazem doesn't give a fuck about anything except his money. If he DID care about something else, such as the "community" surrounding Pls Donate that everyone BUT Hazem has told me is so important, he would have said something along the lines of "I'm disappointed in how this will affect the Pls Donate community, I'm sorry you all have to deal with this". Instead, he says "this platform fucking sucks". The entitlement and ungratefulness radiates off that statement like a nuclear fucking warhead. No amount of "ERM ackshually you make FAKE LIMITEDS" has or will ever silence me, but I'm glad people still aggresively advertise that for me. Perhaps I should post more of them. As many people pointed out, nobody ever calls me a liar.

Pls Donate's core system was made in 3 days. Your game has made you a multi-millionaire while you were still in school. You were given the chance that only 1 in a million get. There are people who spend months to years on a game to make very little return. You should be grateful Roblox has allowed you to get to your current position in life. Your true colors are showing through this tweet. You are pissed at Roblox, yes. Rightfully so, they should have given you more warning. But that doesn't change the fact you are a multi-multi-millionaire because of a loophole you discovered 4 years ago. You have enough money to make the next 'grow a garden', you have enough money to fund a huge Roblox project, you have enough money for literally pretty much anything you want to make on Roblox. Just remember, as easy as you made your fortune (because bloody hell was it easy), it can be taken away from you within a blink of an eye. Don't fall into greed because your easy money making method has come to an end
