@RickyTFC I think it's unfair to have any issue with anything he's said. He didn't feel backed. It was said at the time that one starting 11 player and three teenagers wasn't enough for what the club needed to push on. He's not rewriting history - just being open and honest.

I must say, I’m disappointed in Ange. Sure, he’s got every right to feel aggrieved and bitter, but the “Not a big club” line. He knew what he was saying and doing. Mbuemo, Semenyo and Guehi… now they’ve all signed for bigger clubs, he wanted them, did he?

Having to sit and watch a Manc, Scouser and Gooner belittling your club with cliched tropes is absolutely galling. It’ll all be clipped up ready for the social media fans, pub enthusiasts etc. to regurgitate so it makes them sound like they know what they’re talking about.
