@Rod_Studd That goal Arsenal score from corners regularly is a foul. Laws say it’s a direct free kick if a player impedes an opponent with contact. Saliba (usually) obstructs the goalie with contact. Fair play to Arsenal for getting delivery so good so often but I’m convinced it’s a foul.

@marklangdon @brucemillington You’re not Mark. Well you’re not after the ball is in play. Theres nothing punishable by a free kick when the ball is not in play.

Why are walls even allowed? Why should a team that has been fouled have to wait fully a minute while the team that commit the foul painstakingly line up a wall? As soon as the kick is given the attacking side should be free to take it with defenders not 10 yards away being booked
