@MattStibbs I see no harm in 'asking' someone to install such an app. However, I do have a problem in requiring them to do so, in order for them to do their job properly. Alternatives should be available.

What’s the consensus on asking people to install two-step authentication apps on personal devices for work purposes? (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy etc.).
I do agree that work should provide kit that people need to do their job, but is the above expectation unreasonable?

I’m not particularly outraged about this really... but it’s all a bit diva-ish, bit like some 3rd rate pop star demanding very specific confectionary as part of their rider...

@Jimcorrsays Jim, that is LITERALLY what vaccines do, except Measles is not a "mild childhood illness" - it can be incredibly serious and kills many children each year. Vaccinate your kids, folks.
