Would it have been great to block MAGA from the November California Governor ballot? Yes. But we didn't, so let's send Xavier Becerra to Sacramento and defeat MAGA Steve Hilton.

There will be a lot of lazy coverage about the money Tom Steyer spent in the governor's race. Fine. But here's another dollar figure that matters: $55 million. That's how much corporate interests spent against Tom and for others to maintain the status quo in Sacramento. Any other viable progressive would've been sunk by far less in business IE spending. It took them spending more than has ever been spent against a single candidate in a California primary to stop him. That tells you everything about the lengths some will go to hold onto power, and everything about the lengths we have to go to make big change for the people who need it most. Onward.

Harris had a billion dollars in donations and was beating trump im the polls. It was her actions that lost voters not podcasters reacting to the things she said.

Steyer’s failure to buy a runoff position is a victory for the progressive movement. Anyone who truly hates money in politics should recognize that his elevation was a clear step toward plutocracy in the US. Oh but his policies! Fuck you.

i agree circumcision should be up to men when they are older, but do not involve FGM. circumcision is done with anesthesia and can be beneficial. FGM is done without anesthesia and to punish girls and women.

If Steyer doesn’t make it to the runoff, there’s no way you can convince me to vote Becerra. We’re in a blue state so Hilton can’t win. Becerra deserves a close and stressful race.
