Hands down, one of my favorite days of the year. Hi- Five Friday at KHS to wrap up HOPE Week. KPD and KPS have an amazing partnership. It was awesome to see all the smiles on both the students and officers. Nothing but positivity, coffee, and good vibes to start off this morning

Full house this weekend at Foster Field for both the @KHSbearcatFB & @UNK_Football games. Well done to both teams for getting the big wins on Homecoming weekend. The @UNKearney Homecoming parade was also packed on the bricks and KPD was happy to help keep it safe. Community 💪

Enjoyed a recent visit with Program Director Michael David of Central Community College in Grand Island to discuss future opportunities between their CJ students and KPD. Thanks for the tour, including the Hornady Crime House, where students learn about crime scene processing🚔🕵️‍♀️

I'd strongly encourage all leaders in LE to attend Professionalizing Law Enforcement: Community Engagement Training. I was blessed to go to their conference, and it did not disappoint. Great work being done nationwide, building strong partnerships between community & police.

Excellent work by the Uniform Patrol Bureau and Special Services Unit. In the last 14 days, Officers have donated soccer nets to Bright Futures, helped with bike safety at Park and conducted Hi-5 days at Emerson and Bryant. Building connections at an early age! @KearneyPolice 🚔

Super proud of this kid and the rest of the @kwrestling bearcats for a stellar season. There were many accomplishments to be proud of and lots of hard work was done in the off season. Special thanks to the coaches for all of their dedication and time spent developing these kids!
