Sources: UC Santa Barbara is finalizing an agreement to join the WCC for the 2027-28 season.
The Gauchos are the third addition for the WCC in the past seven months, joining UC San Diego and Denver.
League will have 12 teams in 2027-28.

NEWS: Washington State guard Ace Glass is entering the transfer portal, he told @LeagueRDY. Glass is a former four-star recruit who played just one season at Washington State. Was named Second Team All-WCC this season. He averaged 16.4PPG, 3.0RPG and 2.3APG this season. Shot 45.5% from the floor, 36.4% from 3.

@LMUBASKETBALL But yes getting a bag unfortunately is all any of these kids care about now. None of them give a damn to be at LMU or to play for our program, just here for the NIL and what opportunity it could provide next for them.
That’s why it was so refreshing to see Amey play hard for us.

NEWS: Loyola Marymount guard Jan Vide is entering the transfer portal, he told @LeagueRDY.
The 6-foot-6 guard out of Slovenia began his career playing one season at UCLA before spending the last two at Loyola Marymount.
He averaged 12.1PPG, 4.0APG and 3.0RPG this season. Was the top scorer this past summer in the U20 Eurobasket.

@LMUBASKETBALL We’re just wasting talent at LMU. Disgraceful this kid never even touched the floor over 2 years when our teams were mediocre at best. Now we lose him in a year where we could possibly use him. I don’t see why HS recruits would sign with us after seeing how this was handled.
