At Sarma Lab we are developing tools to diagnose and treat epilepsy and other neurological disorders. This drawing is by @neuro_amir, who is currently working on developing a full pipeline for automated seizure detection and analysis that can be implemented in clinics.

We had the pleasure of having Dr. Carey Priebe presenting in NCSL lab meeting about dynamical systems from statistical points of view. As well as some good food coordinated by Tony ^_^!

Our first-year PhD students traveled to Alexandria for their first retreat. The event consisted of ice breakers, community-building activities, faculty research talks, a panel and ethics discussion, and a live illustration by Professor Nitish Thakor.

What can we learn from pre seizure dynamics in an epileptic 🧠. Does the 🧠 take a similar pattern in the latent dimensions to reach a seizure? Lets look at long-term (3 days) of processed EEG from JHMI to address these questions! #IEEE #NER I will present at IEEE NER.
