Thank you for every single view, comment, share, recommendation, sub. 💜 We slowed down a lot but we're not hoping off the roller coaster yet. 150K is so much!

Cool @Twitch @TwitchSupport this might be the final nail in the coffin. I think I’m done with helping people and making content now. How can you ban and then provide no evidence. Apparently I’m a bot…

Trust me when say he isn’t hearing you… and he and his ilk don’t want ti be helped…. And won’t take the advice for what it is. They want to think everyone is against them, when there is no greater enemy to their success than themselves… There is nothing you can say or do that will convince them. No advice you can give that they will value. The only thing they want deep down is for a larger creator to shout them out, blow them up… Because that’s how they themselves value other creators… off of whoever has clout. That’s the truth of it. 😔

Livestreaming and content creation are such positive experiences. But only the awful things go viral. Hobby or job, I've met some of my closest friends, found love, gained confidence, acquired tons of skills, befriended people I grew up idolizing, expressed myself creatively and got praised for it. I get to wake up everyday to hundreds of comments and messages saying "Thank you". I might complain, I might say it's not easy... but BOY do the pros outweigh the cons. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Sure. Creators such as myself create over 1 thousand videos to help creators learn the tools, make better content, save money, and all that for free (No patreon, no paid courses). Creators like me also handcraft creative assets, overlays, templates, widgets, plugins, etc... and make most of it available for free or very cheap. Creators like me run an entire interactive show for 120 episodes, dedicated to giving direct feedback to small streamers and help them improve their branding. We also consult with companies, helping them understand the market and make better products/services for streamers, gamers, creators. Creators like me constantly find creative ways to help others achieve production value by finding cheaper alternatives, even crafting studio lights out of cardboard and cereal boxes in some cases. We also take the time to respond to comments like this, understanding the frustration of an up and coming creator, hoping to maybe motivate, inspire, or just give a more positive vision of things. I know you're probably used to headlines about how awful big creators (especially Twitch partners) can be, but i'll assure you this isn't the norm. I'm still a small streamer, and all the other streamers in my circle are passionate, kind-hearted creators who want to see everyone succeed. There's a lot of good people and a whole lot of good things in streaming and content creation, try not to let negatives consume you. My next video will actually be about how companies can treat creators better and get more collabs.

My DIY "Stream Deck" from March 2018, when I couldn't afford a real one. Now I'm an Elgato partner.🥹

@Level_Photo Realistically, as a new company. What should we be offering our affiliates/partners beyond commission?

The most important thing is respect imo. Coming up with a list of things you CAN offer (free product, repost/retweets, a spot on your website with a link to their content, simple affiliate with low threshold for withdrawals, maybe a special board custom made for that creator, a care package with a tshirt, socks, a keychain, etc... just any genuine attempt at rewarding and supporting the creator). Makes them feel appreciated and shows that you value their time and effort. Second thing is total creative freedom. No strict guidelines or deadlines. If you trust your product, the outcome will be great. If the content ends up negative towards the product, you basically get free consulting/feedback and can adjust. When reaching out, don't be vague, don't ask for a meeting before giving details. Say who you are (say how cool your product is, but don't brag about how many customers you have if there's no budget), what you can offer (and that you're open to suggestions), then what you would like (be open to a mention, a tweet, a tiktok vid, or a full review, let the creator choose what seems worth it for them). You might have a couple bad experience, waste a couple of units, but the ones who love the products and have fun during the collab will never stop talking about it, paid endorsement or not. And that's on free consulting ^^

@Level_Photo Question, if you don't mind... As a small business that would love to work with smaller content creators, but can't pay up front, what can I do to be fun and rewarding (and fair!) to work with? I run a small indie board game company if it makes a difference!
