William “Bill” Coon, ED.D., principal of Meadow Glen Middle School, announced to the MGMS school family on Monday, that he plans to retire at the end of the 2023–24 school year. Dr. Coon has served as MGMS’s founding principal since 2011. Read more here --> bit.ly/Coon_retirement

This week, the Lexington One Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Jennifer Stanley as the principal of the district’s newest elementary school, South Lake Elementary. An enthusiastic leader and educator with more than 24 years of experience, Stanley currently serves as the principal at Lake Murray Elementary and will lead SLES, which is currently under construction, when the school opens in August 2024. bit.ly/10-25-23_SLES_…

GHS Director of Counseling and Advisement Jennifer Adams, RBHS Co-Head Athletic Trainer Stacey Baynham and Coordinator of Construction Jim Jett participated in the @USMC Educator Workshop earlier this summer at Parris Island.
