I used to be entirely in the camp that said you should kick your kids out at 18 and force them to live independently and make their own way in the world. I don’t feel that way at all anymore. I want all my kids to live with us until they get married. Even after they’re married, if they want to live on our property, or close by, my wife and I would love that. The important thing is to teach your kids responsibility, which we’re doing. They need to contribute and help around the house, which all of our kids do from a very young age. Provided you aren’t raising ungrateful useless moochers, why kick them out? Why drive them away from your family home? I don’t see the point in it anymore. I actually like my kids and like being around them. Maybe they’ll all end up scattered to the wind. But I’d prefer to keep the family together. Why wouldn’t I?

I agree with this 1,000%. The world isn’t what it used to be, and I’m a great dad who raised an amazing, hardworking and responsible son. There’s not a chance in hell I’d opt for him to struggle and claw his way up to a reasonable livelihood, when he’s the reason I already did.

Here’s the issue: The CIA doesn’t investigate crime. The CIA is a proactive organization that accomplishes missions/tasks to further the interests of the United States-- oftentimes committing crime (on foreign soil) for the benefit of the United States. Intelligence gathering, subterfuge, conspiracy etc. They are not synonymous with the FBI, or any other law-enforcement, who investigate allegations of crime and then criminally charge those in which the evidence indicates have committed crime. The CIA’s role is far more synonymous with the military than it is with law-enforcement. Whereby, the military does as they’re instructed, for an explicit macro purpose, with those executing the orders not likely being aware of the true explicit purpose.

When the CIA is investigating you for potentially collaborating with foreign agents against the U.S., that’s a really, really good sign that you might not be “America first.”

I wish I could believe what you were saying is the truth, but the truth is, the stock market isn’t going down because the entire thing is the equivalent of a giant circle jerk - where by more than 97% of the capital that holds it up, is controlled by like seven people. The daily variations are what we see from individual investors, day traders and speculators. The illusion that the stock market can fall 50%, the illusion that it’s not all already consolidated, exist exists so that the brokerage houses, the futures market, the options market, the market makers for each of those, the banks that write the paper for margin lending, etc etc and the pikers who lose on opposite end of every trade, are just sending money to that consolidated behemoth.
