I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. - Psalm 18:3 (NKJV) Comment God is lauded not just for his actions, but for his intrinsic nature as our steadfast stronghold. The verse shows that calling on God in times of distress ensures rescue from spiritual and physical enemies. It encourages turning to God as our primary shield and deliverer rather than relying on our own strength.
