⚔️THE DEFENSE OF KOSTYANTYNIVKA
The news from the city of Kostyantynivka (Donetsk region) is not very encouraging, as Russian forces have significantly stepped up their activities and are actively advancing. I am sharing a map from the battalion commander of the 🇺🇦93rd Mechanised Brigade, which is leading the defense in the city
I am also quoting him:
“This is the hottest section of the front, the Russians have concentrated their maximum forces precisely in the Kostiantynivka direction, specifically on the city of Kostiantynivka itself. Russian troops have advanced in the Pleshchiivka area, captured the Dach district, and established a foothold in several parts of the city, including areas near Minska Street, Radyshcheva Street, and Yuvileiny Park.”
On the critical nature of the situation and the risk of encirclement:
“We understand that if they advance with superior forces and reach the Kryvyi Torres River, there will be a semi-encirclement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine right in the center of Kostiantynivka. Well, I won’t even mention logistics. So, well, things look pretty bad to me.”
On the necessary conditions to change the situation:

Weather factor
