⚔️THE DEFENSE OF KOSTYANTYNIVKA The news from the city of Kostyantynivka (Donetsk region) is not very encouraging, as Russian forces have significantly stepped up their activities and are actively advancing. I am sharing a map from the battalion commander of the 🇺🇦93rd Mechanised Brigade, which is leading the defense in the city I am also quoting him: “This is the hottest section of the front, the Russians have concentrated their maximum forces precisely in the Kostiantynivka direction, specifically on the city of Kostiantynivka itself. Russian troops have advanced in the Pleshchiivka area, captured the Dach district, and established a foothold in several parts of the city, including areas near Minska Street, Radyshcheva Street, and Yuvileiny Park.” On the critical nature of the situation and the risk of encirclement: “We understand that if they advance with superior forces and reach the Kryvyi Torres River, there will be a semi-encirclement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine right in the center of Kostiantynivka. Well, I won’t even mention logistics. So, well, things look pretty bad to me.” On the necessary conditions to change the situation: “Nothing good is expected. The situation can only be changed by deploying a large number of new-technology assets, both in the air and on the ground.” Weather factor The enemy is trying to use weather conditions to launch attacks on motorcycles and ATVs, but the expected prolonged rains that would facilitate their advance have not yet materialized. Ukrainian forces are also waiting for rain to rotate troops at their positions

A russian woman whines that she’s scared and exhausted living in occupied Sevastopol under constant threat, and is leaving everything behind as life has become unbearable. But when they moved into occupied territory, it was fine then—what did they expect? You reap what you sow.

Ukraine self-propelled anti-aircraft guns have advanced north of Ternove, and are attacking west of Komyshuvakha and into Novoheorhiivka. This appears to be an attempt to encircle Ternove. (credit to the map maker)

Ukrainian drone forces struck the "Krymskyi Tytan" chemical plant near Russian-occupied Armiansk, Crimea, in Ukraine. The plant produces material important for the Russian military industry such as sulfuric acid and titanium dioxide.

SERIOUS QUESTION - If Ukraine went to the trouble of having secret US funded biolabs to produce biological weapons to kill Russians... then why hasn't Ukraine used any of them in the last 5 years of war? Russia has killed hundreds of thousands of their people and destroyed entire cities. What would be the purpose of developing biological weapons in secret to kill Russians if they would not even use these weapons in a full scale war that has lasted 5 years?

Reports of secessionist movements within the United States and Canada are gaining traction in various regions, according to the New York Times. In particular, the newspaper highlights the initiative to create a state called “Cascadia,” which would unite the U.S. states of California, Oregon, and Washington, as well as the Canadian province of British Columbia. The report also points to similar ideas emerging in Texas, California, New Mexico, and other states.

Is China already preparing soldiers for Putin’s army? The EU has made a bombshell claim The European Union says it has evidence that Russian military personnel have been trained on Chinese territory. According to European intelligence services, hundreds of Russian soldiers have undergone training at bases in China, and some of them were later sent to fight against Ukraine. If the information is ultimately confirmed, it would become one of the strongest indications yet of direct support for Moscow from Beijing. For years, China has claimed to be “neutral” in the war, but officials in Brussels now believe the issue may go beyond economic or technological assistance. The matter is expected to be discussed by EU foreign ministers on June 15.

🤡 If I can’t have it, no one can! A Russian official has suggested mining shadow fleet tankers Former Roscosmos chief, government official, and propagandist Dmitry Rogozin has threatened what amounts to environmental terrorism against countries that seize vessels from Russia’s “shadow fleet.” “Let it blow up a couple of times right under their noses, with oil spills and all the environmental consequences, and they’ll quickly come to their senses,” he said while commenting on the UK's interception of the tanker Smyrtos. So the plan is to blow them up with the crews on board as well? Russian kamikazes apparently do not care where they die. Can you imagine the faces of sailors sailing on a bomb?

⚡️ The United Kingdom has detained a tanker belonging to Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet” for the first time The order was personally given by Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The vessel was intercepted while attempting to pass through the English Channel. Previously, ships from the “shadow fleet” in this region were openly and provocatively escorted by the Russian warship Boykiy. In early June, it was struck by Ukrainian drones in the port of Kronstadt. According to OSINT analysts, the corvette Boykiy is beyond repair.

Satellite pictures released by TG channel Dnipro Osint (DniproOfficial) show that the Chonhar bridge connecting the two Russian-occupied regions in Ukraine has three clear impacts at the northern bridge. The southern bridge has two impacts. They both are evidently out of service. The pontoon bridge is yet operational, at least for the moment, but it is only one lane wide and the traffic jam on both sides make it an ideal target for more drones.

Starmer’s Military Promises Meet the Treasury— British Defence Secretary John Healey resigned after accusing Keir Starmer and the Treasury of refusing to fund the armed forces at the level required to keep the country safe, with junior defense minister Al Carns following him out. Healey argued that the government’s long-delayed investment plan would lift spending to only 2.68 percent of GDP by 2030, despite Starmer’s promise to reach 3 percent during the next parliament. The resignations expose Britain’s central strategic contradiction: ministers describe Russia, the Arctic, and the Middle East as growing threats, but a stagnant economy, rising debt, and an expanding welfare bill keep crowding out the money needed for ships, ammunition, air defense and readiness. reuters.com/world/uk/briti… Get our daily insights: underfirenews.substack.com
