@James_UTFT @Anthony260263 He hasn't cropped anything, this is from the updated Premier League and PGMO (Professional Game Match Officials) Competition Guidance Handbook. Jay Bothroyd was spot on, it's more unsporting behavior, trying to gain an advantage. It doesn't meet the criteria of Violent Conduct.

@Anthony260263 You cropped out the part where it specifically states this section lists things that are violent conduct off the ball, these things are still violent conduct on the ball.

Complain all you want but the referee followed the rule book perfectly with these two decisions. #EFC #EVEWOL

@JMTB_86 Also there is zero force. He's tried to get an advantage and it's a foul that's it!

@JMTB_86 Do you mean this law where it states 'When not challenging for the ball' which Keane clearly is? Never a red card!

Moyes today STILL adamant that not only isn’t it a red, he says Keane did it by accident. Just own it you numpty. I do agree with him, in interest of fairness, that Hwang’s challenge should also have been looked at and probably a red too but doesn’t excuse Keane.

@robert_huth @SkySportsNews Sky Sports also claim it's in the IFAB Laws (lies as it isnt). It's in the PGMO Laws and even then they haven't applied the rule correctly. Keane is clearly challenging for the ball and wins it. I'd accept a foul being given but it's definitely not a red nor violent conduct.

@EvertonViews @SkySportsPL I know your original post was about Armstrong but when he talked about Keane this is what they come out with...

@EvertonViews Sky Sports claims it's in the IFAB Laws. After a quick search there is absolutely no mention of hair pulling in the IFAB rules. @SkySportsPL lying. It's in the PGMO rules (Premier League). Not IFAB. Also the Law hasn't even been applied properly, Keane challenges for the ball 🙈

Catching up on #RefWatch and what a surprise, slap head Gallagher said Hwang on Armstrong was rightfully only a yellow card. Absolute prick.
