If Larry Borom is a Lions starting tackle the Lions have problems. The likelihood Goff stays upright this season falls precipitously and the run game is going to take a major hit with Borom as a starter. Brad Holmes deserves an F for this off season. Please show me where a unit on this team has improved greatly. Mays is a bump up at center but other positions on this line are the same as last year. We are led to believe Ratledge and Mahogany are going to become all pros. Holmes with his smarter than everyone attitude has failed to deliver the last two drafts. He has single handily destroyed the depth on this team with picks such as Hooker, Martin, Manu, Vaki, Teslaa, Sorsdal and soon we can throw Rakestraw and the future felon Arnold into this dumpster of wasted picks.

Two German friends came to visit me in Texas over a decade ago. Naturally I took them to the Fort Worth Rodeo. They absolutely LOVED it. The only part that puzzled them was when a cowgirl galloped on horseback around the ring with a Coca Cola flag. They asked, “Isn’t this government funded?” I said “Nope”. That surprised them. They also loved the steakhouses I took them to but I could not get them to order steak properly- they always wanted well-done.
