Used the new remote statement feature several times today. Tested it before but today used in ongoing investigations. Public appeal to follow for a theft of motor vehicle in Ashton 🚙

@GergelyOrosz Bonus points if you list so many card types that when you choose "Visa" it might be the wrong "Visa"...

Whenever I see a UI like this I sigh: because I can tell whoever built it is an dev who doesn't care about their craft much. The card type can be inferred from the first few digits of any card, using a regex. It's a neat (and fun!) thing to code + makes for more pleasant UX.

@CityFibre What's the usual turnaround time from "digging up roads" to "I can use broadband" ?

@Jamero66 It ranked 38 in the UK, and outside the top 250 in the world. Not sure that counts as "one of the top ranked in the world".

@virginmedia So actually way worse than the 5 I reported earlier, which is what Google WiFi reported. That explains the struggle a little more tbh.

@virginmedia Upload speed is trashed again, normally 25 but down at 5 right now. Restarting hub didn't help. Phoned about this issue last week and they got it going again, but without fixing anything, just restarts.

@CityFibre Now up to 5 months+ since you dug up my street. Does it normally take this long? Virgin Media overcharging and underdelivering every day 😭
