Time for a new personal tweet pinned to my account. Hi, My name is Teodor, but I’m known as «Dorsen» in the crypto space. I’m a kid/guy from Norway and I’m currently 20 years old. Felt like it was time for another one of these, because I’ve grown a lot as a person and in the web3 space since last time. I am a huge fan of Football, love working out and last but not least, I love playing around with crypto. (Tottenham fan, don’t hate me😅) I have almost been in the crypto space for 4 years now and I am really thankful for my journey so far. I started back in 2021 and started the whole journey with getting an account filled with 120 $ADA, which then was worth around 150 $USD . From there I worked my way up within the space, decided to make my X account and start working. My goals were simple, make a lot of money and gain a lot of followers. Well, after a few years, I realize that non of those goals is what I appreciate the most. What I’m most thankful for is the amount of people I’ve gotten to meet and the amount of friendships I’ve made. I started buying and selling some CNFTs, which was easy at that time, cause everything sold😂 That came to an end and I had to look for other ways, DeFi and Memecoins. Learned a lot over the past few years, both from people I’ve met and from experience. I’ve learned that failing is important on your way to success. We are all human and make mistakes. For example when I lost my whole crypto bag a few years back, did I get drained? No. Did I send a guy all my stuff, because I trusted the person, yes. I was stupid, but I learned. Not long later, I met @dennis_inj , which was a really important for my crypto journey. I had no experience, and he still gave me a shot as a moderator for @UBeastsNFT . Something I will never forget. I worked my way up from there, over the years, I saw something special with the guy, so leaving the project when things got hard, wasn’t even a option for me. Always loved working with Dennis and I’m excited for the future together as well. I feel like he’s been my mentor since the beginning, love you bro❤️ I moved with UB over to @injective , which also was an important factor for my personal journey. I’ve gotten to know a lot of Injective chads in a short period of time, and can’t wait to get to know yall ever better. From the smallest account to the biggest ones, they’ve all welcomed me and @UBeastsNFT / @ParadyzeFi with open arms and I/we really respect and appreciate that! We’ve come a long way with UB, we started with a small AI collection on cardano and now we are running a prediction market on Injective, a collection on cardano + Injective and more to come. More bullish about our project than I’ve ever been. I’m all in to the end🫱🏼‍🫲🏾 I had a goal that was making money, I’ve managed to do that, been lots of ups and downs, but as long as we keep going, I believe that we all will reach our goals one day. Another big factor for me was being added to a group full of gents. Amazing people which I’ve learned so much from, yall know you you are TH’ers😅🧠 I’ve reached a lot of the goals I wrote down a few years back, made a lot of goof friends and I’m ready to write down some new goals. With respect to the idea of a Crypto-Czar at the Whitehouse, I feel the role needs to be filled with someone who is neutral, works with all the protocols, and has a deep understanding of why crypto is special as well as what the US government under Biden has done wrong. There is only one candidate that I think stands out in our industry for this role and that's @brian_armstrong. Coinbase has grown into one of the pillars of crypto and has had to endure the unfair tactics of a government committed to regulation through enforcement. I know he could build a broad tent coalition to bring the industry together and help us get the government rallied behind real action including passing new laws. For my part, having worked with the legislative branch in Wyoming to get 31 crypto laws passed, I'm focusing a ton of my efforts on the House and Senate to help facilitate the legislative effort that will forever remove the abuses of the current federal government and open the floodgates for the legacy world to enter crypto. To this end, I'm flying to DC today to begin formally meeting and advising several lawmakers and will be starting a project in January out of IO Policy called Operation Baseline to survey the American cryptocurrency industry to identify waste, abuse, and missed opportunities. It's important that these get transmitted to the new Crypto-Czar and the lawmakers so that there are clear business requirements for policy. The president's goal is to make America the best place in the world to start and run a cryptocurrency and blockchain business. We as an industry have to come together to make that happen. There are no excuses anymore. The time has come to get this done so that we all can get back to work changing the world.
