@PaulGaleNetwork If they add content that makes it a new game then I'm intrested, but as it is there's nothing new for me as I've played that game to death.
I love how EVERYWHERE I look, it’s nothing but Star Fox. I’m so happy!
Here’s to this game being a strong, new launching pad for the series going forward.
@Mole_Tech_ I’m stoked for all of the additional story elements, new cut scenes, James McCloud elements, and potential surprises…much like how Donkey Kong Bananza had more in store.
BABE, WAKE UP, WE’RE GETTING A LYLAT WARS REMAKE 😭
Announced with a dedicated Nintendo Direct last night, Star Fox will launch on 25th June for Switch 2!
One of the greatest games of all time is back, and so are we! 🔥
Pre-orders can’t be far away, right? Right?!
Ngl I do hope that OoT Remake is less faithful to OoT than Star Fox is to Star Fox 64 in terms of gameplay
I want dungeons to be updated to modern game design sensibilities, on top of combat, minigames, etc updated too, and not just "OoT but new coat of paint and gameplay—
I ain’t letting anything ruin my Star Fox hype!! I’m getting that new game!! I love these characters old Star Fox games too! And yes I enjoy Star Fox Zero too!
@PaulGaleNetwork Disagree that it'll be a fresh experience because other than cosmetically it is the exact same game.
Hopefully a proper sequel is in the works but there's no conformation of that.
Since SF64 came out 29 years ago, for many, this will be a completely new experience. For the 4 million that bought the game back in the day or those who purchased the title on 3DS/played it elsewhere, it’s still going to be a fresh experience for the most part.
That being said, following this up with a sequel that moves the franchise forward, and then continues from there, would be terrific.
@LylatArwing The main campaign is exactly the same game gameplay wise. A few new cutscenes isn't enough for veteran players that have played this to death.
@Mole_Tech_ It’s not called “Star Fox 64”, its got new cutscenes, stuff about Fox’s dad, a battle mode with Star Fox vs Star Wolf,…it’s got a lot in common but not exact same game.
@Mole_Tech_@PaulGaleNetwork But if this game does well then we will get more star fox in the future! That’s why we need to make sure we show that Star Fox has an audience as Nintendo are clearly trying to start fresh fully with the series!
A StarFox movie 🍿 is in the works at illumination.
Not that this is any surprise to anyone after it popped up in Super Mario Galaxy Movie
#StarFox#StarFoxMovie
@MetroidMike64 I sort of get it, but they should've also added some proper new content like new stages etc for veteran fans who have already played 64 to death. To wait 10 years for a new game in the franchise for it not to be new is a kick in the teeth.
Why do Star Fox 64 again? This is probably why. The safest, sure fire way to reintroduce Star Fox to a new generation with a kick-ass game and updated graphics.
@DekrakerRyan@codysoyeah Hopefully the rumours that a proper sequel is in the works are true.
If they are trying to introduce new players then I get it, but to not having any proper new playable content for veteran players is a really poor showing.
@Mole_Tech_@codysoyeah Im more OK with it being SF 64 because its still great and it looks awesome visually and a lot of new fans can play it. But in the same sentence you can say if you are going to make it look that good and do the work then why not just make a new game then? So Im torn. Still happy.
