I was trying to think of a men’s comp to highlight what a huge loss this is. Was going to say it’s like Canada losing Crosby or McDavid but I actually think it’s bigger than that. Poulin plays on the PP, PK, is their most dangerous dynamic offensive threat at even strength, excellent defensively, their captain, and will literally dive head first to block a shot for her team (she did so at the 2021 Worlds and took a puck to the throat). She is irreplaceable. But I also know that this 🇨🇦 team is elite at handling adversity & has a lot of “big game” players who know how to step up in these moments 👊🏻 @CBCOlympics #MilanoCortinaOlympic2026

The International Olympic Committe has confirmed a mixed team event for golf for the 2028 Games in Los Angeles. 36 holes - 18 fourball, 18 foursomes. Players will be those already qualified for individual competitions. Conners-Henderson would be a strong duo.

That’s it. If Pierre Poilievre can pack thousands into a venue in PEI — in what’s been a Liberal riding for 30 years — then I’m sorry, but what’s happening isn’t currently showing up in the polls.

@agalbraith LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN BACK! 👏 This also causes a crazy cascade that we have less childcare support from family, with senior grandparents etc., not like when we were kids. It's a vicious circle.

I’m going to say this louder for all the Liberals and progressives saying they are outraged by Pierre Poilievre calling out the truth that so many of us millennial women and younger have had a hard time balancing making a life, a career and having kids. That we wait to have a family until we can “afford it.” And then spend thousands on IVF. And miscarry. And some of us just don’t get families. This is a huge issue. It’s one our government should care about and solve. And anyone saying acknowledging that, calling it out is sexist or offensive is part of the reason we have the problem. It’s honest. It’s important. It’s meaningful to many of us. Just because it makes you uncomfortable to hear it doesn’t make it less true.

I’m from Hamilton. Covered politics for near 25 years. I’ve never seen a crowd this big come out for any politician in The Hammer, never mind a Conservative one.
