The man you are seeing is Elvis Opiyo. He is a married man with two children and reportedly works as an NIS officer. She became exhausted from the disrespect and the endless battle she could not win. Everything changed when Claire graduated last year. She told Elvis that she had found someone else and made it clear that she would not be anyone’s second wife. This news reportedly did not sit well with Elvis. He could not accept that someone he had invested in for eight years would leave him. He tried talking to Claire, even involving her parents, but nothing worked. Two months ago, the pressure and heartbreak pushed him to attempt to take his own life, though he survived. The pain of rejection and betrayal consumed him. At one point, Elvis allegedly even contemplated ending Claire’s life. Eventually, he reportedly decided to have her attacked with sulphuric acid. He is said to have believed that if he could not have her, then she should suffer and feel the same pain he thought she had caused him. Now, Claire is left with injuries and scars that may never fully heal. She is currently fighting for her life at Kenyatta National Hospital. Meanwhile, Elvis has been arrested and is now in police custody.
