A whole day of community workshop with @WFarahslt. Exhausting but fulfilling work. Lesson learned: reject SLT research that doesn’t consider mental health & language on minoritized without racism and intergenerational racial trauma!

So much of the tension that we see, particularly in SLT, is because of this view of language . A purely cognitive milestone based linear way of language will always create a deficit view.
