She started her career as a journalist at the Frontier Post while studying Mass Communication at Punjab University - she also worked with the U.S Consulate for nearly 20 years

The third & final panelist for Sabaat's webinar on 'Experience of Reporting on Women from Minorities in Pakistan' will be Ms. Tahira Habib, a women and minority rights activist currently working as a Senior Manager Outreach at HRCP.

On February 12th, 1983, nearly 100 women marched on the Lahore High Court to protest against dictator General Zia Ul Haq's repressive & discriminatory Law of Evidence. Defying laws against public assembly, the women's protest marks an important event in Pakistan's history.

He has managed diverse teams & has wide-ranging experience working in multi-ethnic-religious-cultural environments with various stakeholders including religious leaders and scholars, government officials, legislature, media, academia, CSOs, & youth organizations across Pakistan.

The second panelist for Sabaat's webinar on 'Experience of Reporting on Women from Minorities in Pakistan' will be Mr. Usman Younus (@Usman_why) - a Program Coordinator at Bargad with experience in managing projects, proposal development, & liaising with international donors.

Mr Kapil has been at the forefront of the rights of religious, sectarian, ethnic, and linguistic minorities & other marginalized groups in Pakistan. He mainly writes on human rights issues of religious minorities; particularly Hindus.
