The tent plinth is finished for now. Once things have settled in a season or two I will relevel and point with mortar. Site cleanup and tent raising next, and I'll dig a little swale and plant leeks and rosemary and lavender on a cedar moat that ticks won't dare to cross.

There was a period in my childhood where I couldn’t walk - about three years.
Mother never forgot the time when it was raining and we had to get to the car.
A man appeared who picked me up, crutches and all, and carried me through the water to the car.

De-nailing 200+ year old barn wood.
The only tool I am worried about hitting nails is my SawStop tablesaw. $99 for a new cartridge if it trips
Once located I drill two holes on opposite sides to fit the tip of needle nose plyers.
Holding tightly, a good whack with a rubber mallet will usually yank the nail out.
BTW: The nails are really soft from that era.
