People be like "who cares if she is bald" while Jade has always had nice hair styles, and never looked bald
And also "the actress wanted to be like that" while she wore wigs in many of her roles

I very much know a lot about Jade since I played almost every MK game out there. She was never bald to begin with, which again, fucks up her character. A garbage ass movie with poor representation doesn’t strip my knowledge towards a character

It’s so funny cause I’m seeing the pattern here for black female characters. They unnecessarily turned Tanya masculine and a servant to Mileena and now making Jade bald (reps masculinity). They would never do that to anyone else like Sonya, Kitana, etc. Get the picture here

Whats masculine about her? Her demeanor wasn’t masculine. Visually, she’s still very much feminine and “lady-like.” I think y’all have to have an actual convo on why you view a black womn with short hair as inherently masculine

As another Jade fan and mutual of mine pointed out, they’d never do this to another MK lady - not Sonya, Kitana, or Sindel. But for whatever reason, we gotta shut up and let them masculinize the only black female in the new movie’s ensemble🥴racism but make it woke
