I really like the Chiefs 3 defensive picks so far… that being said, outside of maybe taking a TE, there isn’t a lot of elite offensive talent left for day 3. Do we think Veach grabs a FA WR? Jauan Jennings, Deebo, Tyreek (later on), Diggs? Or a guy like David Njoku? Hmm 🧐

Chiefs Assistant General Manager Mike Bradway says the Chiefs fielded calls about trading back into the third round since there were players they were interested in falling. Midway thru third round they pivoted and decided to remain patient and wait until the fourth round.

How is the data wrong about Reuben Bain being very very below average vs the run? Can someone explain that?

@PSchrags @SSJWHB I’d rather they go WR first, Edge second. Not sure how Bains arm length will play vs AFC west tackles. I think Slater has shortest arms at 33 inches. Maybe the LV second tackle has shorter but I’m more concerned about the Chargers and Broncos currently.

The Cowboys / Chiefs clean swap is not a cop out in my mock. Cowboys want one of the blue chip defenders. They get one at 9; could miss out at 12. Chiefs want 2 starters. 12 / 20 gets them that. Draft "falls off a cliff" a bit after top 20 when it comes to 1st round talent.

This is a Chiefs fan's dream.
