@TaintedSaint2 @ArmisteadHlt @soigomaa Also my uncle told my grandmother her health decline symptoms must be all in her head, that it must be the sadness caused by the dead of my grandfather. My grandma had brain cancer and died shortly after. It's 2026 and we still get random men insisting it's all in women's head.

@TaintedSaint2 @ArmisteadHlt @soigomaa I'm sure my doctors thought my pain was psychosomatic for years until my uterus got scarred so severely that now it's easily seen in ultrasounds. Now I'm prone to colon ulcers for past NSAIDs abuse. Internal endometriosis which could have been fixed by one daily pill years ago.

Extremely impressive anime summary of the Iranian revolution so far. Not to mention accurate. I had no idea AI had reached this level of sophistication. Credit goes to @PsyopAnime who does similar videos for world events. I hope they produce a full length film 🙏🏻

I'm not sure people - especially outside the PC Enthusiast space - are prepared for how much AI is going to screw consumers starting next year. Laptops, desktops, Phones, tablets - anything that uses RAM or NAND Storage. And the worst part - AI is just a big pyramid scheme.

This is bad, bad news. Especially since Crucial is the biggest avenue for retail-facing SODIMM upgrade modules (on Amazon, Newegg, etc).

@RLS_Tragedy @visegrad24 Real lesbians are a very small % of the population. In this research, most women who claimed to be non-heterosexual were actually straight.

Nearly 1/3 of American women aged 18-28 now say they’re LGBTQ. According to a recent Gallup poll, 9.3% of adult Americans identify as something other than heterosexual. The trend is mainly driven by Generation Z, where nearly a quarter of 19-28-year-olds describe themselves as LGBTQ. “I didn't think we would reach 10 percent so quickly. We're not quite there yet, but it seems like it might only be a few years away,” says Gallup CEO Jeff Jones. Among younger generations, bisexuality is most common, especially among women. According to the survey, nearly one-third of women in Generation Z identify as LGBTQ, compared to 12% of Gen Z men. The proportion of transgender people remains low, at 1.3% overall, but Generation Z stands out with 4.1%. The report also shows that identity varies with political affiliation: 14% of Democrats, 11% of independents and 3% of Republicans identify as LGBTQ. Since Gallup began measuring in 2012, the proportion of LGBTQ people in the United States has nearly tripled. At that time, it stood at 3.5%

@TheGreatWilson @Philosophi_Cat No, I personally have never been attracted to men, and I have never even kissed one. I appreciate men as friends and I adore my brothers, but I have never felt romantic love/sexual desire towards them as I have towards women.

@OphisCode @Philosophi_Cat Are you meaning to say/admit that, due to the frequency of running into men who use & abuse women, at least by your sum of life experiences, it's easier, safer, more convenient, and more respectful of your living to be a lesbian, rather than risking your life &/or joy with a man?

I would say this seems to hold true for all of the long-term single women I know. By the time they’ve been single for a year or more, they typically don’t want to bother with men. They like their comfy routines and living life on their own terms. A few of them say they would make space in their life for the right man, but the “right man” increasingly starts to become an extremely specific person who fits neatly into their carefully cultivated life, so of course that person doesn’t exist. The fact is that men often aren’t competing with other men so much as with women’s preference for being on their own.

@DebaltseveC14 @Lfromthenorth I've always been a lesbian, I have never kissed a man. Declaring yourself a lesbian grants you social status? *Declaring yourself*, is that some Gen Z nonsense? Or a special "LGBT+ community* rainbow star? I've never felt part of any "community", I'm just a woman living my life.

What is up with all these men on here who think they know fuckall about lesbianism? "There's no sexual motivation there" BRO WHAT? 🤣🙈
VeScaletta@DebaltseveC14

@Bonsouere3 @lesbian_haven That's because lesbians are just femcels that can't pairbond with men, due to trauma, maladjustment or whatever. Unlike gays, there's no actual sexual motivation here. It's more of a political act of you will.

@Philosophi_Cat Our situation might be a bit different because we're both lesbians and it's not so straightforward to meet other lesbians if you're not actively seeking, but we're familiar with the experience that some women get used and enjoy being alone too.

@Philosophi_Cat By personal experience, I was content the 10 years I spent alone. Then I met the love of my life, another woman who was also alone 8 years before she met me. Neither of us felt the *need* to be in a relationship during those years. But here we are, and we're happily married now.

Recently I was targeted by an extremely sophisticated phishing attack, and I want to highlight it here. It exploits a vulnerability in Google's infrastructure, and given their refusal to fix it, we're likely to see it a lot more. Here's the email I got:

@kitty_raging @variedints @lukeisamazing Exactly. I'd be happy if my wife would get such a job, it would feel like a blessing. I'd also question how much this guy really loves his wife if he feels annoyed at her for being happy (and I bet he's also exaggerating about her work routine).

@Freethinker2626 @Cluffalo When I ask another woman out I pay, obviously, because I INVITED her to dinner. I only see men crying about it. It's pathetic.

@d4m1n This is as useless as doing UI in Photoshop - only good for mock-ups or ideas. The challenge will be explaining to clients that a designer's work can't be made with a click of a button bc of threads like this. It just highlights the lack of knowledge in the profession.

@HPluckrose Very much so. I'm certain that if I ever get attacked, the only chance of survival I have is by defending myself full-force with an object and going immediately to vital parts/eyes, but if I fail the first few seconds, it's very much over.

My observation is that very many women genuinely do not have an intuitive sense of how much stronger men are than women, because men have not used their strength against them &, when playing, hold back their strength. 1/
