I see a lot of people, especially Christians and Christian influencers, claiming that calling out to God or Jesus will stop an alien abduction in its tracks. They speak of this idea like it's gospel and question the abductee's faith if it doesn't work. Unfortunately, calling on the name of God or Jesus doesn't always stop an alien abduction. That's the truth, and the truth has little to do with an abductee's faith, and everything to do with the physicality of the aliens and their superior technology. Alien abduction is very similar to human trafficking, so imagine telling someone calling on the name of God or Jesus stops human trafficking or sexual assault in its tracks. It's simply not true. Could it work? Yes. Does it always work? No. Continuing to claim it's always true 100% of the time is damaging to abductees and it's damaging to any faith they might have left.
