Not necessarily homeschool specific but @flowidealism is the best education account on twitter by far. @HippyMomPhD is a must follow. @bycourtneym shares fantastic advice, especially for younger kids. @Homeschool_LLC another must follow - hes got maybe the best book on how to get started

Does anyone have a place to start when looking into homeschool? Or recommendations on who to follow for homeschooling guidance?

Peruse all the things, feel free to use and switch and move curricula frequently. Hop on one of our Wednesday evening spaces and come join our homeschool community.

@PatrickMignault My advice to new homeschool families is to find the best homeschool support school/co-op nearby and build your homeschool curriculum off of that. Outside of that we do sports teams, piano lessons and church events.

@PatrickMignault We loved the Sonlight curriculum for history, English…, loved Saxon for Math.

If you want your kids to read, make sure they have easy access books at their grade level in a nice cozy nook of your house Make it EASY for them to read & they will

@PatrickMignault Homeschooled 3 since 2002. Know your state's laws (call local school board: they will have a homeschool dept that can help) Find a local homeschool support group. Homeschool conventions are usually in May and have seminars, education booths etc

@PatrickMignault I work in education your district likely has a home school program. Look there first if you can’t find anything look for something or accredited

@lindsaystamp3 Balance is critical. Being financial free allows one to control their fate vs feeling like we need to take a role for $.

I’ve climbed the corporate ladder at the same company for the last 9 years. The next rung up is Managing Director and I can genuinely say that there is no amount of money they could pay me to do it.

With the Eagles virtually out of the #1 seed race, I'd prefer the Lions to get #1 seed over Vikings. Vikings are humming and are mostly healthy. Lions have a greater chance to get upset in divisional round (due to injuries), which would give home field back to Eagles as #2 seed.

@chrisboettcher9 Great tip! Also recommend buying in cash vs CC. Much easier to stay in budget when you have a set $ amount.

Grocery shopping tip: Focus on how much protein your dollar is purchasing. You’ll soon realize how expensive “cheap” food actually is.

If you are a guy in your 20’s, live below your means and invest. Avoid debt at all costs.
