Why is it that almost every MOU, or agreement that Mark Carney is interested in, benefits the exports of those respective countries more than it does Canada's?

There are many issues on which I strongly disagree, but on which I can still respect the intelligence of people making a counterargument. Canadian joining the EU is not one of those. It's disqualifying stupid to advocate such a thing, and you are a child nobody should ever listen to on anything.

How to lose a trade negotiation Step 1: travel to minor, inconsequential markets for a year. Fail to reverse the decade of Liberal policies making Canada the second poorest US state after Mississippi. Step 2: play up a performative “middle power resistance” schtick and mis-cite Vaclev Havel - whose antagonism to political cynicism would hate this ‘elbows up’ embarrassment. Step 3: run out of time and strategic options while Mexico creates a bilateral alternative to CUSMA. In 1812, our generals weren’t playing with figurines their New York friends gave them and talking about previous battles to prepare the nation for an anticipated failure from their own lack of preparation and focus. Canada has a generational opportunity to create the largest and most consequential free trade zone with the largest economy in the world. This video is a national embarrassment.

If you've ever wondered what the face looks like of a man who argues that TFSAs (i.e. your own money that you earned and saved) are bad because they "deprive the government of revenue" You now have that answer.

Instead of giving 12 million "Canadians" a grocery rebate to help with affordablity, why doesn't Mark Carney just cut taxes? Oh right, socialists don't operate this way. They like to steal and redistribute wealth from the people that don't support them to the ones who do.

Have you noted Mark Carney's hypocrisy in warning Canadians about being too close to the United States while he himself is fully invested there?

This is such an outrageous decision that it should act as a catalyst for an inquiry into our judicial system. If certain judges are consistently making unsound rulings, remove them from the bench. If the laws themselves have created loopholes, review and revise them. If bail reform needs tightening (which it most certainly does) then get on with it. If we need more infrastructure such as courthouses and prisons, then let's get building. If we need more crown attorneys and judges, start training and retaining them. If there are larger system problems like border control or a lack of enforcement of deportation for repeat foreign offenders, give the appropriate agencies the tools that they need to succeed.

@Watchdog_MP @nationalpost Organic, naturally occurring racism is bad. But this is officially-sanctioned, institutionalized, codified, ideologically-driven, government-approved racism, which is far, far worse. This country is far too obsessed with identity. In the judicial system. In hiring. It’s utter BS.

@nationalpost @Phil1863 These are the institutions indoctrinating the next generation of young people. How is this kind of open discrimination against straight white men in hiring tolerated in universities?

As I said before, there is a campaign underfoot to have Canada join the EU. Most campaigns start with polling. Those polls are then treated by spin doctors as if they represent the will of the entire population. They are then used to shape opinion as opposed to sample opinion. It works because people don't want to go against the opinion of the majority. People prefer to herd together. If you want to have unending foreign bureaucratic entanglement, massive carbon taxes, uncontrolled immigration, and a stagnant economy, throwing your lot in with Europe makes sense. If you want to instead find the way back to balanced budgets, and affordability, run in the opposite direction.

Bell Canada's revenues were $25 billion last year, in part by charging Canadians some of the highest cell phone fees in the world. But they want a government hand-out to subsidize their failing news channel. Sounds about right.
