The irony of calling out agency which the voice seeks to bring to the forefront of discourse in this country. To deny the impact of colonisation, is to deny the lived experience of hundreds of thousands of Australians who for 235 years have survived despite colonisation... shame
SBS News@SBSNews

Opposition Indigenous Australians spokesperson Jacinta Nampijinpa Price tells reporter she believes colonisation does not impact on Indigenous Australians today. Read more: trib.al/pbiMkx6

A terrorist on a student visa kills 15 people in Bondi. The government's response? Restrict the rights of Australian citizens. Not tighter visa controls. Not better enforcement of existing laws. Their only solution is you losing your freedoms.

I don’t want to live in a third world country surrounded by uncivilised, low IQ violent people I have nothing in common with. I want to live in a peaceful, high trust, safe society with people that share my morals & values. Wanting peace, safety & security is not hateful or racist.

Went to Harrods this morning and had at least a dozen Australians come up to me gloating about the Ashes. Have all the convicts emigrated to Knightsbridge?

The Bondi Beach terrorist attack just proved: 🔹Gun control laws don't work 🔹Government can't protect you 🔹Police can't be everywhere 🔹Unarmed citizens are 'sitting ducks' 🔹You are your own first responder More from @GunRights: youtu.be/1pzoeT6CChI

Further disarming their citizens, making them more vulnerable to slaughter, instead of ACTUALLY DEALING with the PROBLEM of IMPORTING PEOPLE INTO THEIR COUNTRY WHO HATE THEM and HATE THEIR CULTURE is just MORE AUSTRALIAN BULLSH!T from the COWARDLY, GUTLESS AUSSIE LEADERSHIP.

@wilsonhlthcoach Nothing you jist said makes "turbo cancers" a thing. Im sorry you have had to experience cancer in your circle, but spreading misinformation doesnt serve you or those living with or lost to cancers.

Me: Turbo cancers are real. Them: No they aren't. Me: I've seen it with my own eyes in family members and patients. Them: That's just a late-stage diagnosis of an aggressive cancer, which isn't new. We've always had aggressive cancers. Me: Do you know the people I'm talking about? Them: Well, no. Me: Then how do you know what I've seen? Them: Turbo cancer isn't real. You're just trying to spread anti-CV-shot lies. It never ceases to amaze me that people are still so blind. They'd rather keep the blinders on than admit they're wrong.

Good morning. And a particular good morning to my Australian advocates of gun control. I have a sincere question, posed in good faith and grounded in analysis rather than emotion: if gun control is as effective and comprehensive as it is often presented to be, how does an individual already known to the Australian government for demonstrated ties and loyalty to ISIS manage to obtain a firearms license issued by that same government, and subsequently purchase six separate firearms? At its core, this is not a rhetorical flourish but a critical inquiry into the practical limits of regulatory systems. If the purpose of strict gun control is to identify and preemptively exclude demonstrably dangerous individuals, then such an outcome represents a significant failure of enforcement, intelligence integration, or both. One would reasonably expect that a system designed to prevent misuse would have identified and stopped precisely this type of threat before access was granted. The question, then, is not whether laws exist on paper, but whether centralized permission-based frameworks can reliably function as their proponents claim, especially when they fail in the very scenarios they are most frequently invoked to justify their necessity.

Was Bondi the tipping point for Australia? The goal is simple - let in people who'll make Australia better, keep out people who'll make it worse.
