The best thing I've done the past two months is have super smart people look at our business model, the shades of all the industries that look like it, then break it down at the smallest of levels, and build it back together, showing what it could be ... and that possibility and growth curve is super exciting.
Funny how a simple listening tour with a really valuable group of people who can speak from different vantage points is a great advantage to move quickly and make iterative tweaks that take things to the next level.

34 percent of Harvard students are white. 43 percent of those students are either legacies, children of faculty, kin of donors or a recruited athlete. 75 percent of them would not have gotten in if not for special status (National Bureau of Economic Research).
But when in doubt, blame the Black people!

A reminder for those recruiting for VC:
Dress casually!
99% of the time your interviewer is going to show up in casual attire. VC is more like startup culture than finance culture. At least this is true for the early stages.
Showing up in formal attire is not necessary.
