Carl's Jr. was once a popular CA fast food chain. It originated in CA.
The HQ left CA for TN about 10 years ago, but it still had many burger outlets operating profitably in CA.
Now many of those Carl's CA outlets have filed for bankruptcy. They simply can't make a profit operating in CA -- by far the most anti-business state in America.
