@andy_buksterlin Edwards air Force Base in California where it was scheduled for testing. Came from the retrofit hangar in TX where it was being modified on the ground. It was flown to Edwards without activation of the new system from my understanding.

@andy_buksterlin I don't think so because this aircraft was the specific one that was modified by Boeing. It was one of a kind in regards to this modification. In my mind the obvious difference is the new system being turned on during its test day. Could be wrong but it checks out to logic.

@andy_buksterlin I didn't infer that radar was used for navigation in this instance at all. I applied Occam's Razor to the new AESA system activation on an old electrical grid. Possible cascading issue from the new power draw. Possibly effecting something as simple as an electric trim motor.
