Yo @CapitalOne how about we don’t try and ruin someone’s credit and make their life harder? I go to get Sav a new family car and during the loan process I was asked about the repossessed vehicle on my record. I was extremely confused from this statement. I ask to see what the are talking about and they show me. More confused because I know the loan and the car. I write down the info, get sav a new car and make some calls. They claimed to “repossess” my vehicle in March of 2020 which is odd because I have photos of the “repossessed” vehicle in my drive way June 4th of 2020 at night after just totaling it by hitting a deer on the freeway. Apparently you “repossessed” it because failure of payment after the previous 72 proper payments and now I am having to jump through hoops to get the paperwork to fight this. After weeks I get the paper work and payment info… the report shows Reoccurring payments from Jan 2014 through Dec 2019 set on auto pay. Then a single charge months later and when I asked why did autopay get shut off if there was a balance remaining and why was there no charges or no returns due to insufficient funds? And if I was Late on the payment was there No late fee? But more importantly why were there No phone calls or emails sent. Well….when I asked why the bank didn’t try to contact me if I still owed money on the loan, I was told “well you didn’t have a phone number or email on file.” What…. How the hell did I get a loan without that info. Even better the paperwork shows after 3 months capital one decided to do a payment direct allocation one time ACH of a few hundred dollars and write it off as a repossession on my credit. Oooo the joy of making payments for 6 years and then a bank does this. Now I’m told they can do anything and I have to submit more paperwork. Be careful who you bank or do loans with. Getting any of this info or dealing with @CapitalOne has been a pain and wasting hours of time. Now I have to submit letters and paperwork to the 3 credit bureaus to get it dropped. Y’all been the worse experience I have had with a loan or bank.
