Trade winds will remain strong and gusty through the weekend. Expect decreasing showers across Kauai and Oahu into the weekend. The Big Island and Maui will continue to see abundant windward showers. Another period of rainfall is possible statewide starting late Monday.

Lingering moisture over the eastern end of the state will gradually erode today. A stable E trade wind pattern will persist over the next several days. Shower chances will generally remain highest across windward and mauka locations through the week.
