Roblox letting players pay for Roblox Plus with Robux instead of $5/month would be great.

@iJackeryz I am pretty sure these textures don't appear when exporting as glTF (instead of obj).

i seemed to find a fix, idk how concrete it is but it worked for me and am posting it here to help others out:
- when u export the model, these 2 pngs show up
- open these in an image editor, they'll have stud textures on them, fully colour them out, save, reload in blender :D

@trelakor2 I think there should be a single, government-run database (they already hold our data anyway) that platforms can query when someone creates an account. If every platform has to implement its own age verification system, it increases the chances of sensitive data being leaked.

i think what's fucked up is like.. where's the middle for online safety?? ppl will always be dissatisfied with a private internet being incapable of good moderation, while also rightfully opposed to surveillance that can trace bad actors easier, just at the expense of privacy.

The Philippines has POSTPONED the national ban on Roblox, following their meeting. The meeting included “key safety reforms”, which Roblox agreed to. These reforms include: - Age Verification is required for Chat Access; - Users are limited to “appropriate age groups”; - Users behaviors may be tracked, additionally, users may be required to re-verify their identity; - A “clear process for cybercrime investigation” - Lastly, Roblox plans to integrate the Philippine National ID Verification and have local accountability by having a Philippines Representative. Digital Pinoys states: “We will continously work with the Stakeholders to ensure that the reforms are strictly implemented as soon as possible.”

@icelemonisyummy @vattelious You could also do this deterministically, without the use of AI. Roblox could add an epilepsy setting which, when enabled, makes the client detect if the colors on screen change too drastically, in which case they decrease the saturation and contrast.

While some videos (such as the Knit tutorials) are indeed outdated, there are many other ones (about the observer pattern, the map and filter functions etc.) I find useful to this day.

For those who have asked - I have taken down all my YouTube content. It was getting old, and much of the info shared in them was outdated. It was also not to the quality that I'd like.
I have no idea if I'll make more videos. It's a lot of work and I don't have the time for it.

@highlywantedyt Because the UI is badly coded. They made it so the "LowestResalePrice" property (which for some reason is 0 for this item) takes priority over the "PriceStatus", "IsOffSale", and "IsPurchasable" properties (which all show the item is Off Sale) when displaying the price.

@DogutsuneRBX Only Roblox can publish packages, but you can make a model auto-update by publishing 2 models: one is a script for people to insert into their games and the other is a module. The script will require the module by ID at runtime, keeping it up-to-date (HD Admin does this too).

@BolterPlayz It also makes your project look cleaner. Instead of having 50 scripts for 50 doors, you'll have a single script defining how all doors should behave.

@BolterPlayz You shouldn't duplicate a script anyway. Imagine you later decide to make the door have a Transparency of 0.75 when open. What are you gonna do? Change that value in all 50 scripts? The best solution would be to tag all the doors and just use CollectionService.

@akirenzai Then I got no idea what could cause this. Try in another browser or on another device, or clear the website data (cookies, cache etc.) and try again.
