Since @RealApfel blocked me after I responded and hid my reply, I’ll repeat it here. Ironically, @FNCreate created this system to prevent this exact situation. It’s meant to stop creators from copying another project’s likeness to benefit from its success. Putting something like this in Sponsored creates the impression that it’s the original, which can mislead players and pull attention away from the actual creator.

Claudia here, Director, Product, Fortnite Creator Ecosystem. We’re seeing it too and we’re on it. As a first step, we’ve taken the island out of the sponsored row. We’ve also figured out how this is happening and we’re in the process of introducing new safeguards to prevent it, including stronger guardrails and enforcement measures within the Sponsored Row system. . @FNCreate Currently, the CPM is rising like crazy. This is because of scammers in the Sponsored Tab. Creators are creating new accounts and buying slots in the Sponsored row (and never paying the bills). Inside the promoted island, they are promoting the “real” map. Fix it!

@ZwaaikipK @FNCreate Using fake or virtual credit cards or fake paypal account. With no balance. And you have always to create new account. Thatswhy there is so many accounts with almost same name. Epic dont lose "real money". They just gave the slot for free. But it cost epic millions per month.

Und versuchen am folge Tag abzubuchen.. falls es nicht geht nach 7 Tagen wieder.. was dann passiert weiß ich nicht. Wahrscheinlich nix, daher machen das so viele. Kann aber strafrechtlich von Epic games verfolgt werden

@DomsiAT @David2m11 @FNCreate Die zahlen nichts. Geben fake daten an oder fake paypal account. Und somit zahlen die NICHTs. Das ist das problem. Setzen ein Budget in Höhe von 25.000$ und hohen Bid. Somit zahlen die für die Promo garnichts und haben den ganzen Tag promo for free

@DomsiAT @David2m11 @FNCreate They purchase sponsored placements through new account and then promote different map inside the promoted map. It will generate revenue. So they get free Spot in that Sponsored tab. And they can repeat it. Never paying for that spot... just need to create new account.
