I HATE Elden Ring. And no, it's not because the game is "hard" or "doesn't hold your hand." It is the fact that the entire game has ripped off another franchise. Frankly, I'm surprised nobody else ever noticed. It's so obvious and blatant. I can't be the only one to notice.
The entire game is basically ripped off from my favourite video game series Dark Souls.

Zeno was a wasted character.
The second phase of the last boss is a repeat of my least favourite RE3 boss.
The BSAA chest shop system ain’t living up to the Merchant or the Duke.
A weird one, but trying to redeem Spencer didn’t feel right.

Would definitely recommend, but would also suggest you look into RE2 and RE3 first 😊
