@CoinSisu11100 @luxemiaa I’d be more likely to give it to them if they asked me for it after I sit down. But I won’t reward passive aggressive behavior

So it finally happened. I get to my window seat and a lady is sitting in it. I say “I’m sorry this is my seat, are you maybe in the wrong row?” Assuming if you’re in the window, you have a window seat. And this woman says, “i need to sit here, i’m big.” (She wasn’t that big) Wtf? This is a red-eye. I get a window seat so i can sleep, as I have to hit the ground running when I get to my destination. I just looked at her.. “I’m sorry, can I please get into my seat”? ---

Dear @chicagobulls, I am a lifelong fanatical Bulls fan. Been to many games, bought your merch, and supported loyally through ups and downs. Until today. My greatest loyalty is, as is Jaden's, to Jesus Christ and truth. And I am grateful to live in a nation that protects freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Your violation of the first amendment--and, even more problematically, your ideologically selective while culturally amenable cancelling of a man who did nothing more than hold to his convictions--is a tragic capitulation to the spirit of the age. I urge you to do the right thing and publicly apologize to Jaden, acknowledging the error of censoring a man for believing what Scripture says and what Jesus taught. Respect, @JadensIV. -a Chicago pastor

I predict what happened to Bud Light happens to both the Bulls and NBA in ticket sales. Selectively discriminating on certain personal views while allowing and encouraging others at the same time will lead to widespread disgust by a large chunk of fans, and also likely lead to free speech lawsuits.

The conduct they are claiming is detrimental is Christianity. They fired Jaden Ivey for being Christian. Worth noting the Bulls didn’t fire Ronnie Brewer after he was arrested for DUI. Or Joakim Noah after he was arrested for possession of drugs. When Jameson Curry was arrested for public urination and then resisted arrest, the Bulls suspended him for one game, but also refused to fire him for his conduct. Christianity is apparently where the Chicago Bulls draw the line.

@newnorm249 @Acyn What US citizens or infrastructure have they targeted? You claim documentation. Show some. Tired of yahoos claiming facts not in evidence

Are we seriously doing this now? Iran and its proxies have spent years and are actively right now targeting civilians, airports, residential areas, and critical infrastructure across the region. They’ve attacked shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, destabilized global trade routes, and openly escalated this conflict. That’s not debated. That’s documented. But now suddenly the outrage is about whether the U.S. might be violating international law by targeting infrastructure? That’s a joke. International law is not some blanket rule that says “you can’t hit infrastructure.” That’s simply false. The law is clear: if infrastructure is contributing to military operations, logistics, command, or war capability, it can be a lawful target! What’s illegal? Indiscriminate attacks on civilians. Targeting purely civilian objects with no military value. Using force to terrorize populations. You know, exactly the behavior Iran has been accused of for years and you’re selectively ignoring. So let’s drop the bs outrage. You don’t get to ignore decades of proxy warfare, missile attacks, civilian targeting, and regional destabilization, and then suddenly become an expert on international law the moment the U.S. responds. And no, this isn’t about “lowering standards.” The standard hasn’t changed. The difference is one side has been violating it consistently, and the other is being scrutinized for even considering lawful military options. You can debate strategy all day long. You can question escalation. But pretending this is some clean moral contrast where Iran operates within the rules and the U.S. doesn’t? That’s not analysis. That’s outright intellectual dishonesty, genius.

Reporter: The president said we might blow up and completely obliterate all of their generating electric plants, oil wells, Kharg island, and possibly all desalination plants. Under international law, striking infrastructure is generally prohibited. Why is the president advocating potentially a war crime and how do you square that with the US aying it does not target civilians? Leavitt: Their best move is to make a deal or else the united States armed forces has capabilities beyond their wildest imagination Reporter: Including potential war crimes? Leavitt: With respect to achieving the full objectives, the president is going to move forward… Reporter: Which of those objectives would destroying a desalination plant most help?

@RealNaughtius @TommyBirch This is an awful way to develop sources and trust. A coach would be less likely to speak candidly to you camped outside his/her office. The news will come out -- but it doesn't always come to light immediately.

Things looked pretty promising for the Iowa State women after they reached the Big 12 Tournament title game and came within a win of reaching the Sweet 16 in 2024. But ever since then, the Cyclones have struggled to get back on top. desmoinesregister.com/story/sports/c…

I am not saying I am a huge Markwayne Mullin fan (and dude, seriously, just go by Mark), but plumbing work is hard. I do it. Slopes, angles, venting. Designing a drain, waste, and vent system is applied physics. Code compliance would challenge most lawyers. Jimmy Kimmel could not plumb a toilet if his life depended on it. The little guy couldn’t change his own oil. I would take a plumber over an actor any day every day. I’d take a plumber over someone with a PhD in philosophy. Frankly, I’d take a plumber over most Doctors, as their arrogance far exceeds their intellect.
CJ Pearson@Cjpearson

Jimmy Kimmel: "Before he was elected to the Senate, Markwayne Mullin was plumber. That's right. We have a plumber protecting us from terrorism now." The elitism of Hollywood summarized in one moment. 👇
