For any who don't seem to "get it", Sidney Lowe was hired after a boondoggle coaching search featuring multiple public rejections. Due to the timeline, and to limit collateral damage, Lowe stepped in despite not being a good fit and took the job at State. In a way... he was being noble and selfless. That didn't mean he did a great job or that it turned out well. Carolina is essentially living a mirror of that moment whether they want to admit it or not. It may end up better for them than it did NC State but if I was a Tar Heel I'd be incredibly nervous right now.
No amount of bravado or trash talk is going to change the fact the portal opens on Tuesday and you don't have a coach.
