@Umbral_Ice @Actually_Tina They basically just made it so you can't do beast tribes as BLU or BST which being honestly the thought of doing one as BLU never crossed my mind so I'm not really bothered by this? Imo people are a lot more upset over this than needed

Deleted original post because I was not reading it correctly. I didn't realize it took out quests without DOH/DOL classes too. So thats a bit more then daily beast tribes and while Im personally not upset by it, I can see why others are

@highelven You are. Lavos is so underrated. Before his Prime there were maybe 10 Lavos mains in the game, so when he got Primed a lot of folks were like "wait, he's actually good?" My only gripe is that my fingers get tired from all of the elemental mixing you do with his abilities.

@marathonaire You know that crashed ship with the red barrier up between Processing and Flight Control at the bottom of the ramp under Drone Wing? There's a prio contract for Mida where you take what's inside it to a DCON and it makes that noise and EMPs the carrier at the same time

ANOTHER MARATHON HOT TAKE: Base Knife doesnt need a nerf. It is the great equalizer. It should be able to kill a purple shield in three swings - ESPECIALLY with all three arachne upgrades. Just because you have purple kit doesnt mean you should be exempt from the fear of a knife! I lost 2 20k kits to free kits last night. Thats part of the game! I was careless and didnt check both corners. Yes it sucks. Yes I was pissed for well over 30 min. BUT ITS ON ME! ITS A SKILL ISSUE! BASE KNIFE ISNT THE ISSUE! Now I havent played around with enough mods to see how affective the knife can be on like Destroyer. But knife should be strong no matter what. If you cant kill a free kit knifer with purple kit you have positioned wrong and you deserve to die

@marcatosound All honestly at least for me unless I know the person from other stuff where I’d want to hang out and chat with them it’s watching new players react to msq or just watching random people prog a savage or ultimate. XIV outside of that is kinda a hard thing to consistently stream

@Astir_01 @shaark @kruzer Her passive gives her grapple cdr and then also you have the tactical recovery stat, mine ranges from around 45s after the first time I use it (I start with it ready to go from Sekgen passives and I have both tac recov upgrades) and as low as like 20s with max bag and tac recov

@shaark @kruzer I believe it already works like this, I've noticed differing timers for the cooldown, super inconsistent in terms of timers though.

I’m seeing a lot of posts about the Thief Grapple cancel and Slide Cancels in Marathon. I think Thief’s grapple should be consumed when cancelled. Slide Cancels shouldn’t refund your heat, but I don’t believe they should be completely taken out of the game. I think the Marathon community should embrace expressions of skill even if they were not originally intended. Being able to do Thief’s Grapple cancel or Slide Cancels once mid fight rather than spamming it is fine in my opinion.

@vivilotl I think you get all loot you originally found back in the mail if teammates take it to prevent stuff like that being profitable (or maybe that only applies to stuff from your initial loadout when you get into a match).

just did my first ever marathon match with a random and they refused to revive me and looted my body. asked for my loot back and they dropped like 30% of it and extracted the way a single match hasn't made me upset in the slightest compared to this 😭💀

@RelentlesJ_ @SeanFrancis @xHOUNDISHx Unironically I oneshot the one that requires a cardio kick, granted I killed 2 people cause usually check Intersection/Algae for players before continuing to complete the mission. So while I personally just found it a minor inconvenience I know many will find it hell. Solo run

@SeanFrancis @RelentlesJ_ @xHOUNDISHx Gotta do the bio-quarantine run, mix it with a cardio kick and then hit every major location within the timeframe of the buff being active (it maxes your heat but randomly overheats you occasionally) and the last Sekgen quest wants an antivirus for a special lockdown in anomaly.

Okay quick question…was I in the wrong looting for heals/healing and not stepping into heat cascade to revive teammate? I’ve had this happen multiple times. Solo random fill teammate gets a little salty not being revived right away. What’s the proper Marathon etiquette here?

@SouLHunTer3544 @OlManMakowski You take damage from the heat cascade which means the revive timer resets, unless you want to invest a bubble shield into the revive you gotta wait it out

@OlManMakowski It's not that painful so it is rezable yes, but them not understanding your decision and disconnecting is quite not understandable either. Like you can literally pertain your gear and farm extra item from bags you made, why quit there?
