@joebonthuys @bootifulgame If I'm reading it right, I think a grand total of 18 tickets have been sold this morning.

@bootifulgame hello mate any idea of numbers for Leverkusen that were held and sold in last couple of days? Trying to gauge likelihood of it dropping low.

@bootifulgame @AST_arsenal @ArsenalRefWatch Red members missed out, so to some level I agree that if that was the case then there’s room for improvement for more tickets to go to members. At the same time a few seemed to have edited PDF so not sure what the actual solution is

@bootifulgame @AST_arsenal Having witnesses tens if not hundreds of 'non-arsenal supporting' partners of fans in the crowd at Inter this week. Is about time we had a grown up conversation about Supporters Clubs away ticket allocations?

@DarrenArsenal1 @AngusMoorat @10akhil @AST_arsenal Can someone please put this to the club for them to explain why I had to collect my ticket from some skanky pool club while this wannabe influencer can go to her first away game?!

There has been much chat about how the away credits system at Arsenal is a closed shop. A few years back I may have said the same but this week I reached 19 away credits. As we again approach the FA Cup third round it marks four years since I bought my first credit, Forest away in the FA Cup. Now at 19. The system far from being a closed shop is a well designed, well run system that reflects loyalty whilst also rewarding those who are prepared to invest time and effort in building credits. For those interested I post my credit history. Meanwhile here are some accounts that I suggest you follow and whose posts have helped me: @bootifulgame @AFCFixtureNews @DarrenArsenal1 @AngusMoorat

@REDactionAFC The app didn’t work for some without internet. Couldn’t get to the light show part. App was updated and tested beforehand

Remember when the Stadium became cashless? Some were outraged Remember the move to digital ticketing? More outrage. Light shows and digital events? Same There is a pattern here. The digital age will continue to impact your matchday - come with the rest of us, or step aside

@Stillmanator @willow1886 Agree. Responsibility should be on the visiting team. They can negotiate how to keep their fans safe legally with the area given. Sell less tickets, pay for more stewards,… it’s a bad precedent as it will just encourage their fans to force the issue over and over again

@willow1886 Yeah this is why it’s such a weird punishment, the whole problem stems from United fans! That’s where this entire problem comes from.

It works against other clubs, it’s United’s fans that are the issue. If we get United at home, the solutions are: LBI to change their mind. Reduce the capacity. Play elsewhere. Take the fine. The fine is imo the only solution, but the penalty will only get worse.
Angus Moorat@AngusMoorat

The FA fine is suspended, pending Arsenal finding a solution for this season. Hard to see one. The Safety Advisory Group has already declared standing in the Upper Tier to be unsafe. New Lower Tier internal doors and extra stewards to stop concourse mixing maybe?

@14will14 @AngusMoorat Why is it an Arsenal problem that their fans don’t follow the rules in upper tier when all other fan bases can?

@AngusMoorat Better stewarding to prevent standing in upper tier entirely impossible? I imagine most of the "hardcore" away attendees will all choose to be lower anyway. It'll be the less frequent flyers who would end up upper, no?

Tim Stillman ⭐️⭐️@timstillman_

Local authorities wouldn't allow United fans in the upper tier due to persistent standing at away matches. Wasn't a way of getting 9k into the lower tier without home and away fans mixing in concourses. Pretty much no way of doing this without getting heat from some direction.

@Chiefredcoat @Stillmanator @BrynoDavies Was also thinking about them. Do they get fined for not adhering to the lower tier rules? Very similar scenarios

Bit of a can of worms here. This was very far from a unique case, plenty of clubs do not fully comply with allocation requirements (and positioning) citing safety concerns.
FA Spokesperson@FAspokesperson

The Professional Game Board has sanctioned Arsenal FC for breaching the 2024-25 FA Cup Rule 192 in relation to its Third Round tie against Manchester United FC on Sunday 12 January 2025. Full statement: the-fa.com/e3hp9e

Sunderland (a) is complete Unusually low number of tickets held back by the club, but a crazily high number of buyers at 45+ It's not a closed shop yet, but it we're heading towards a situation where we have 2k (loyal) away supporters who will buy every single game.

@DarrenArsenal1 Their younger fanbase being able to become a socio and have a say on who runs the club has to have an influence with concession pricing. A season ticket for 26 and under is discounted heavily.

Interesting that a lot of the Bilbao fanbase seemed to be fairly younger than the average fan we see throughout the PL. Tickets cheaper and possibly easier to get access to games? But did seem to make for a more engaged crowd. Not that we can change that here, that horse has bolted

Fellow away traveller, from our row, went to 10 away credits today. Started on 0 in September last year. Did the leg work to Atalanta, Preston, Milan, Lisbon, Newcastle, PSV, Madrid, Liverpool etc. Well done, Michael.

@AFCFixtureNews and anyone else who can help please. What happens with the digital downloads when you book several away tickets at one time? If you book for friends on their STs then how do they get the digital download/ticket? Does it appear on their membership near the game?

Away credits Season ticket holders who started the 24/5 season on zero could have finished it on eight. The last coming from Liverpool, which sold on 5+ Trips to Milan, Preston, Newcastle, Eindhoven and Liverpool etc are costly. But this is the way for STs to build away credits.

@REDactionAFC Not all of them were easy to get. Preston, Newcastle and Inter were the three you had no excuse for if you wanted to build up away credits. Sporting Lisbon, RM and PSV went in seconds, with the whole season ticket fanbase scrambling for a few hundred tickets each game.
