Trump said, again and again, that he refused to respect the peaceful transfer of power. He told us this was going to happen. And remember the deafening silence that followed from the Republican Party.

Please take this moment to permanently etch into your minds the names and faces of every Republican official that has aided and abetted the dark path to today's coup attempt. We cannot allow them to whitewash what they have done or find a way to be in public office ever again.

If we don't, someone we know and love, or someone who is vulnerable will need a hospital bed and there won't be one for them. Go for a run outside. Do a yoga video. Play a board game.
